Ben Sabrin (CEO)Ben Sabrin is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of eHire. Prior to founding eHire, Sabrin provided consulting services to Atlanta start up Appcelerator, helping them to form their executive team, acquire venture capital, and to generate a positive buzz in their space. Sabrin was previously Vice President of Sales, Americas for open source pioneer JBoss, Inc. At JBoss, Sabrin had the distinction of being the company's first non-founding employee. He was a significant factor in JBoss' success and helped drive average annual revenue growth of more than 150 percent during his tenure. Additionally, Sabrin was instrumental in building the technical and management teams at JBoss, as well as orchestrating and defining open source acquisitions such as Hibernate, JGroup and JBPM. Prior to his tenure at JBoss, Sabrin was director of business development at Pencom Systems, an IT consulting and recruiting firm. In 1997, he helped to establish the Atlanta Java User Group. Sabrin is a graduate of Indiana University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business with a marketing focus. Ed Grasing (Partner)Ed Grasing is a founding partner of eHire. Based on his experience as a professional recruiter in the technology industry since 1993, Grasing is responsible for the management and oversight of eHire’s technology recruiting functions. He began his career at Pencom Systems where he first recruited microkernel, compiler and OS level build engineers. This gives him an extensive understanding of systems level technologies, and how to best fill positions associated with them. As IT needs evolved, so did Grasing. He soon began recruiting systems administrators, network architects and UNIX performance engineers. In 1997, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to open a new office for Pencom, initially focusing on recruiting system security and intrusion protection professionals. In 2003, after growing Pencom’s Atlanta office into one of the most profitable locations, Grasing left the company to start Revelation Partners, a recruiting firm noted for their unique Relationship-Based Recruiting Methodology. This method focuses on a heavy mix of passive job seekers, relationship-based recruiting and no use of job boards. Grasing graduated from New York’s Binghamton University. He lives in Atlanta with his family and his hobbies include traveling, seeing live music, watching sports, fine dining, and reading. Kyle Tothill (Partner)Kyle Tothill, is a founding partner of eHire LLC, where he is responsible for the management and oversight of the firm’s sales and business development recruiting practice. Tothill also serves as the firm’s subject matter expert in the areas of data center management and telecommunications oriented recruiting projects. Before the founding of eHire, Tothill was the founder and managing partner of Clearpoint Consulting, Inc., a nationally recognized provider of specialized executive search and recruiting services. Formed in 2001, Clearpoint Consulting has successfully built and recruited sales teams for such multinational brands including Nokia, Sprint, Telx, Savvis, CBeyond Communications, Cox Communications, Computer Associates, S1, JBoss, Red Hat, Recall NA, Jabian Consulting, T-Mobile, Onesource, Right Management, CareerBuilder, Alogent, Novell, and Internap as well as many other start ups and middle market firms. Navikon, Inc., an innovative marketing software company based in Atlanta, tapped Tothill to help found, build and develop the sales and marketing team. Prior to Navikon, Tothill was a Division Director for Robert Half International, a four billion dollar specialized staffing firm based in Menlo Park, CA. While with RHI, he was awarded the coveted Chairman’s Club decoration which recognizes elite sales performance, he also received three promotions for his outstanding sales and sales management results. Tothill graduated from Auburn University with a BS in Business Administration; he also received a minor in Mathematics. Seth Ryan (Partner)Seth Ryan is a founding partner of eHire and is responsible for the management and oversight of eHire’s technology consulting practice. He is charged with the development, architecture and delivery of critical technology solutions for eHire's customers. Ryan possesses a rare combination of both technical and business development skills and experience. Prior to eHire, he held a range of business development and sales positions at companies like Novell, Red Hat, OpenSpan and JBoss. Ryan performed in the top ten percent of all business development resources in each company while also winning the Top Sales Executive award twice. Before his time in business development and sales, Ryan spent seven years working at Accenture and Andersen Consulting. He was consistently rated in the top five percent of all Accenture personnel while delivering complex technology solutions to customers such as BellSouth, Cingular and Alltel. Ryan holds both a Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Virginia with the latter in Management Information Systems. Michael Reene (Partner)Michael W. Reene is a founder at ehire.com. Previously Reene served as an Senior Advisor to Avocent (NASDAQ: AVCT) , Chief Strategy Officer at ChoicePoint (NYSE: CPS), Chairman and CEO of Enterpulse. Reene served as Global Vice President, Telecom Vertical at IBM. Reene started his career at rose to Managing Partner at Accenture. Reene has actively served the Atlanta community. He has founder or leadership roles at the Technology Association of Georgia, the TAG Foundation and Tech High Charter High School in downtown Atlanta. He as served a variety of civic organizations including the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, a Trustee at Georgia State University, Emory University, Boy Scouts, the Business and Technology Alliance, the Georgia Center for Advanced Telecommunications Technologies, Hands on Atlanta and Atlanta Technology Ventures. Reene has been recognized as one of the top Entrepreneur’s in Atlanta, as an influential person in technology and as a “Forty Under 40” early achiever. Reene has been involved in over 15 start-up ventures. Reene holds an MBA degree from the University of Chicago and a BS in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Illinois. Allen Tothill (Partner)Allen Tothill manages eHire’s Telecommunications & Data Center Technology efforts. He’s charged with maintaining the relationships at our large regional customers, as well as leveraging his extensive network of relationships in this area of our business. Prior to eHire, Allen was a Partner at Clearpoint Consulting, where he had been since 2005. Tothill grew up in North Carolina and graduated from NC State University. After college, he held various engineering, and sales positions with E.I. DuPont, EDS and Insurance Systems of America (ISA). He relocated to Atlanta in 1980 with ISA as Product Manager of Claims Software & Processing. After ISA, Tothill held various Executive Leadership positions, including Vice President of Marketing for Agency Management Systems, Vice President of National Accounts for Sprint, and Vice President of Carrier Services for Internap. |
