This week, we launched a new website for eHire. I know a new site is very passe these days, but we took a top-down approach to building a site that would offer you, the job seekers and clients, a new level of control and visibility into what type of content they receive from us and how frequently they want to see it.
We know your inbox is overwhelmed with spam, jobs that aren’t interesting, unrelated opportunities in cities you don’t live in and contracts you don’t want. We at eHire wanted to put the control back in your hands so that only relevant and specific jobs or events you were interested in land in your inbox. The site is also very mobile friendly as we know most of you are searching openings on your phone and not on a desktop or laptop.
Find a new job is often time-consuming and stressful, but it doesn’t have to be that way. The goal is to make it very easy to view our openings, apply and hear back from us quickly.
One of the biggest features of the new eHire.com is the ability for you to create a profile on our site.
You may be asking yourself:
What are the benefits to doing this you might ask?
Am I going to get spammed with a bunch of non-relevant information?
The answer is no.
With our new platform, you are now in the driver's seat with an easy to navigate portal. The job seeker portal allows you to:
Set up custom job alerts
View suggested jobs based on your resume or previous searches
Save interesting jobs to view or apply to later
Upload your resume and/or portfolio
Control the frequency of job alerts. You can hear from us daily, weekly, or not at all. The choice is totally up to you.
We have also enhanced our chat feature so that you can quickly engage with our intelligent AI to point you in the right direction or chat directly with a member of our team in seconds to help you find what you are looking for. No more submitting resumes to a black hole never to be heard from again. Your time is valuable and we respect that.
Lastly, our enhanced events page gives you the ability to sign up and preview the events you care about most. We love getting out in the community to meet you whenever we can. We are involved in hosting some of the most popular meetups in town, frequently speak on engaging panel discussions, and attend industry events with technology organizations like TAG and AITP.
Check out our calendar to see where you can meet up with us next.
We hope you enjoy the new features and benefits of our site and please leave feedback if you see areas for improvement or new or expanded content.
This site is for you and we are committed to keeping it relevant and useful for all of our job seekers and clients!
