The Cloud Architect will provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for oue client's migration to the cloud. They will create the roadmap and designs to migrate the existing technology stack to the cloud and architect new features to be cloud native where applicable. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of migrating on-prem infrastructure as well as building new services in the cloud. The Cloud Architect will visualize the evolution of the current state to the future state and create a detailed plan of execution.



  • Responsible for design and planning the migration of Real Estate Manager product to AWS
  • Lead brainstorming and design sessions to identify the order and scale of the migration effort
  • Create the technical roadmap to migrate from on-prem infrastructure to AWS
  • Analyze current stack, services, and IT tools to bake into the overall migration strategy
  • Analyze the existing technology landscape including DevOps and IT toolset and recommend cloud solutions for the same
  • Create system architecture and design documents to illustrate current and future state
  • Collaborate with IT, Application Development, and Product Management to present architecture options and solicit buy-in on next steps
  • Architect solutions to build new features as cloud native services
  • Architect systems that are cohesive and loosely coupled
  • Collaborate with DevOps to design scalable CI/CD pipelines
  • Architect cloud solutions that are performant, scalable, maintainable
  • Visualize and build cloud environments to support Application Development and QA teams
  • Design and code Proof of Concepts (POC)
  • Design solutions that meets security and compliance controls
  • Evaluate and recommend alternate and emerging technologies to augment existing technology stack






  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years as an AWS Cloud Architect
  • AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer certification. Associate level at a minimum
  • Demonstrated success in migrating from on-prem data center to AWS Cloud
  • Experience migrating .NET and SQL Server systems to AWS
  • Experience architecting cloud first systems
  • Ability to project costs for cloud resources based on proposed solutions
  • Experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines in Hybrid Cloud environments
  • Experience architecting solutions in using AWS managed services like S3, RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, API Gateway etc.
  • Experience in designing auto-scaling systems
  • Experience deploying containerized applications and microservices to the cloud
  • Experience with designing systems that leverage message brokers and asynchronous communication
  • Experience building Proof of Concepts from concept à design à code
  • Experience with Infrastructure as code – Terraform (preferred) or AWS Cloud Formation
  • Former experience as a Developer or Architect contributing code using technologies like .NET, JavaScript, or Python etc.
  • Strong understanding architecture patterns and code best practices




  • Experience designing systems that support a global user base
  • Experience with NoSQL and Data Warehouse databases. Preferably DynamoDB and Redshift
  • Experience designing cloud-based Document and File Management systems
