DevOps Engineer


A rapidly growing FinTech powerhouse is adding DevOps engineers to the Product Engineering Team.  This is a highly technical and balanced position between engineering operations roles such as systems configuration management and software development. You must be able to architect, create and deliver redundant, scalable and secure enterprise technology solutions. 

The Senior DevOps engineer/build/release engineer works in a 24/7 environment and will have shared responsibility for deploying new application releases Manually (currently) to develop software automation release capabilities. The position will also play a large role in helping the company make the transition to be a fully hybrid cloud-based platform.


  • Prior experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch using Jenkins.

  • DevOps Automation: Amazon AWS cloud (or any other c, including automation experience with Terraform.

  • Operating Systems: Windows (IIS) Required and Linux systems administration a plus.

  • Scripting Skills: Strong scripting (Groovy or Java and Python would be a plus)

We’d love to see

  • Windows Domain security understanding.

  • Deep understanding of version control systems (Git, etc.), including branching and merging strategies.

  • Three plus years of configuration management and engineering for large scale websites hosted on Windows Technology, ideally supporting an agile development process. 

  • AWS or Azure or GCP: 2+ years’ experience with using a broad range of cloud technologies (e.g. EC2, RDS, ELB, EBD, S3, VPC, Glacier, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS) to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security. 

  • Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues. 

  • Monitoring Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk).


  • Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud-based production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems.

  • Build, release and configuration management of production systems.

  • Pre-production. Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of our products / services.

  • System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.

  • Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.

  • Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.

  • Ensuring critical system security using best in class cloud security solutions.
