DevOps Engineer

Automating everything is your focus and CI/CD is your strength. As a DevOps Engineer, you play a key role in bringing together software development and IT operations in the delivery of the banking products we implement. You work closely with all disciplines such as Java software developers, Frontend software developers, QA Engineers and Engagement Managers to ensure the entire software development life cycle of the banking products we implement.

With your experience and skills, you will contribute to the quality and delivery of software products. Your work has a direct impact on the ability to continually innovate on products and improve our way of working.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

5 years relevant experience

You have a strong desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment where you have a lot of responsibilities and see the immediate impact of your efforts;

You are a leader by example who takes pride in delivering high-quality software according to plan

You are flexible, balanced, always striving for improvements

Skills

You have in depth knowledge working with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

You have designed and/or delivered mission-critical services

You have proficiency in a public cloud, i.e. AWS, Azure or Google Cloud

You have expertise in CI pipeline.

You have Shell, scripting and Java programming experience

You have expertise with Linux/Unix systems and have used configuration management

tools (such as Maven, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt)

You posses efficiency and find smart ways to automate tasks for you and your team

Business, product and industry knowledge

(optional) Previous implementation experience in a senior consulting role

(optional) Previous Financial Services, Banking, Fintech experience

Sufficient understanding of the Front End technologies to accurately consult clients.

Ability to build substantial knowledge about core offerings in a timely manner
