We are looking for a Director of Engineering to join the team. We are on a mission to build vertical SaaS companies in areas as diverse as Equipment rentals to Healthcare to Investment software. We build these companies leveraging a common backbone of product development processes, tools and technologies. The Director of Engineering (DevOps) will report to the CTO and own the DevOps and DevSecOps processes, tools and technologies that enable us to scale and grow.

Responsibilities: 

  1. Own DevOps which means building processes using tools and technologies that enable all the companies within our brand to scale efficiently

  2. Own our Cloud Infrastructure including organization, billing, monitoring and costs optimization

  3. Own fostering Security best practices at our companies

  4. Set goals and drive execution of DevOps maturity at each of our companies. Work with the company CEO’s and Product Development lead in integrating DevOps

  5. Hire and manage a small team of DevOps and Security engineers 

  6. Be a strong facilitator in enabling our companies to go through certifications such as SOC 2, ISO 27001 etc.

 

Must Have:

 
  1. Strong Engineering management experience with a focus on DevOps and Security

  2. Experience with Agile methodologies and running devops and security initiatives in this manner

  3. Strong administrative experience with Amazon Web Services

  4. Expertise with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-code tool

  5. Expertise with Docker and hands-on experience with Container orchestration services such as ECS or Kubernetes

  6. Experience enabling development teams in leveraging Microservices architecture

 

Nice to Have:

 
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related fields

  2. 5+ years of experience including some as Engineering Manager
