A day in the life:

  • Perform a hands-on role in designing, developing, debugging, and deploying innovative software solutions that drive core business functions as part of a highly interactive development team
  • Design and develop high quality, robust and reusable code and components
  • Contribute towards moving the team forward in leading edge processes like continuous integration, continuous delivery, cloud migration and test-driven development
  • Assist development manager with planning, analysis and definition of high-level software strategies and solutions through functional knowledge and an understanding of the end-user workflows and nuances of the business processes
  • Initiate and lead brainstorming and design discussions with the development team and end-user focus groups
  • Serve as a mentor to junior developers
  • Transition from application development to support as needed troubleshoot production issues

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3+ years developing enterprise applications utilizing Microsoft technology (.NET / C# )
  • 1+ years developing front-end code using JavaScript via jQuery or UI frameworks such as Angular or React
  • Strong coding skills including ability to write maintainable code and describe it to others
  • Passion for keeping yourself current with industry trends and modern technologies and ability to apply trends to architectural needs
  • Experience with implementing well-designed, secure, and high-performing RESTful APIs
  • Proficiency with SQL and query optimization concepts
  • Effective collaboration, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
