A world leader in Adaptive Behavioral Analytics machine learning software and named a Deloitte Fast 50 tech company, provides the technology of choice for risk management.  We are looking for a Jr. Data Scientist to join this growing team.

 

As a Jr. Data Scientist you will be instrumental in blocking fraud in real-time – helping organizations to outsmart risk by spotting the criminals and reaching out to help when a customer’s behavior seems out of character.

Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification with good mathematical background and knowledge of statistics.

  • Experience of applying practical machine learning algorithms to real-world data.

  • Experience in implementing statistical models and analytical algorithms in software.

Responsibilities 

  • Development and application of adaptive real-time analytical modelling algorithms within the platform.

  • Identify opportunities for deriving customer value from real world, large scale, data sets.

  • Map the online services and e-commerce problem space to our analytics.

  • Investigate the trade-off between algorithmic accuracy and real-time, distributed, computational constraints.

  • End-to-end processing and modelling of large customer data sets.

  • Working with customers to understand the opportunities and constraints of their existing data in the context of machine learning and predictive modelling.

  • Developing statistical models and algorithms for integration with our products.

  • Applying analytical theory to real world problems on large and dynamic datasets.

  • Producing materials to feedback analytic results to customers (reports, presentations, visualizations).

  • Providing input into future data science strategy and product development.

  • Working with development teams to support and enhance the analytical infrastructure.

  • Working with QA teams to advise on effective analytical testing.

  • Evaluating and improving the analytical results on live systems.

  • Developing an understanding of industry data structures and processes.
