We are seeking a Lead Front End Engineer to help build our rapidly-growing platform. This role is based out of our Atlanta office (between Buckhead and Midtown), however remote work is acceptable. Previous experience in healthcare is not required, but a high level of curiosity, a demonstrated history of continuous learning and a bias for action are required.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of web application products front end development
  • Build beautiful experiences using React / Redux
  • Build reusable components and front end libraries for future use
  • Work closely with design and product teams to regularly ship working features
  • Work in an iterative fashion (Scrum)
  • Mentor and advise team members
  • Evaluate and deliver timeline estimates for web based projects
  • Write tests as you code (we’re not TDD, but value testing)


Requirements:

  • 7+ years of professional experience building consumer facing web applications
  • 2+ years of professional experience with React (w/ Hooks) / Redux
  • 2+ years leading technical projects and/or technical teams
  • Expertise building and maintaining a shared component library
  • Proficiency with GraphQL (Apollo Client)
  • Proficiency with modern component libraries such as Material UI
  • Proficiency with web markup - HTML5 / CSS3 (Less/Sass)
  • Proficiency with JavaScript (ES7)
  • Proficiency with Webpack

Ideally:

  • Degree in Computer Science
  • Experience with automated UI testing (Selenium or Cypress)
  • High personal code/development standards (code review, unit testing, documentation, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Node.js
  • MongoDB experience
  • AWS experience
  • Healthcare experience
