Lead Front End (UI) Developer - Remote in Georgia

We are looking for an experienced lead Front End (UI) developer to lead UI development efforts while working as part of an agile team, maintaining and enhancing the digital ticketing platform. The right individual for this role must have a strong balance of UI coding, design skills and technical expertise as well as team leadership and mentoring skills.

Job Duties:
Transform high level business requirements and UX designs into technical specifications for user-friendly applications across mobile and web.
Code and perform unit and integration testing of web front-ends as well as IOS applications to ensure proper and efficient performance and adherence to business requirements, technical requirements, and design specifications.
Collaborate with internal customers, technical, and architecture teams to solve complex web development problems.
Influence system design by identifying and recommending design/requirement improvements for front-end enhancements.
Serve as final escalation point to quickly resolve front-end related incidents and problems for production applications supported by the team.
Follow established configuration/change control processes.
Plan and conduct research to implement latest web technologies in order to produce high quality web sites and applications.

Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or related field
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (5+ years)
Thorough understanding of React (3+ years)
Experience with native iOS development including work with UIKit, and PassKit in Swift and X-code frameworks (5+ years)
Attention to quality through unit tests, automation scripts, and code reviews
Knowledge of object-oriented design principles, design patterns and software architectures
Knowledge of agile software development processes and methodologies
Ability to communicate effectively and work with a variety of people.
Experience building responsive web apps that communicate with RESTful APIs
Experience with CSS and CSS preprocessors, such as SASS or LESS, and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
Experience using modern JavaScript tools such as NPM, Webpack, Gulp, Karma, Jasmine, Babel

Nice to Have
Familiarity with Postgres SQL and database architecture
Familiarity with cloud provider technologies (Azure, AWS, etc)
Familiarity with progressive web application (PWA) standards and methodologies
IOS experience on apps using PassKit, Apple Wallet & ApplePay functionality
