As the Manager of Software Engineering, you are responsible for managing a team of engineers to develop world-class low code software products that will be used directly by customers and partners across multiple industries around the globe.  This is a technical management role so prior experience as a software engineer developing web products is required.

Lead the Product Engineering team to develop well designed, testable, code for software products sold to customers across all major industries around the world.
Directly manage engineering staff, perform reviews, address issues as needed in a professional manner
Proactively look for and fill gaps in team productivity and embrace a mentality of “the buck stops here.”
Participate in and lead design, architecture decisions and technical solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Experience and other stakeholders to understand requirements, accurately scope, schedule and execute software engineering work. Collaborate on achieving shared objectives or resolving issues.
Develop processes and systems to ensure a fast-moving, predictable delivery schedule using an agile process.
Develop software engineering standards and best practices. Implement industry best practices.
Keep abreast of new technologies and techniques and identify relevant technologies that would benefit our products
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Enable a culture of creativity, collaboration, speed, innovation and excellence while continuously elevating the quality and caliber of the product engineering organization.
Work closely with the our Technical Support team to assist with customer issues as needed.
Ensure technical documentation is created as needed.
Directly contribute to the our codebase by fixing bugs or completing small features.
3+ years as a software engineering manager. 5+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications.
Demonstrated track record of successfully hiring, managing, coaching and retaining world class software engineers.
Demonstrated software development experience building enterprise SaaS, cloud based products.
Demonstrated experience leading the development, delivery and maintenance of one or more web based software products.
Extensive experience using Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of release management and deployment workflow processes, from development release through staging and production deployment.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build productive cross-departmental relationships and motivate team members. Must have a positive, can-do attitude and value collaboration.
Fast learner. The type of person who is constantly learning and quickly puts their new found knowledge into action.
Humble manager who leads by example, regularly engages and mentors staff, is able to fill engineering gaps to allow individual contributors to focus on larger product deliverables, and provides consistent feedback.
Passion for innovation. A person who doesn’t wait for someone to tell the exact way to implement, but rather thrives on creating innovative and scalable approaches to solving problems.
