Our client is the leader in outsourced communications in the UK market. There is a clear opportunity to grow the brand to establish a similar position in the US market. The requirement is for a growth focused individual with proven B2B experience, who can drive new client acquisition in the US market. We know that our path to success is via a holistic digital and offline strategy, therefore knowledge and proven success of both is key.

The successful candidate will be a master at ideation, but be equally skilled at bringing concepts to life, taking your team and stakeholders on that journey with you.

Responsibilities:

Define, own, and deliver the US marketing strategy

Work alongside the sales and business development team to grow revenues in vertical markets

Diversify into new sectors and constantly look for new opportunities, and product development opportunities

Develop product and value proposition in line with market demands

Earn credibility for our brand via partners, advocates, and key influencers

Identify strategic partners who will help us achieve our goals of brand recognition and client acquisition

Work alongside media partners to deliver targeted advertising and content outreach programs

Collaborate with our PR agency to create thought-provoking and engaging content and PR within our target verticals and geotargets

Transform our social media presence by earning new and engaged followers via savvy social strategies which stand out

Work with our BD team to run our events program, ensuring we maximize every touchpoint

Work with our group digital function and 3rd party vendors on our digital strategy, ensuring we are aligned with offline activity

Implement and manage ABM initiative to win larger clients

Create a comms and insight strategy to build a stronger relationship with our clients, and increase cross-sell, upsell revenues and tenure

Create stronger ties and reputation locally to support recruitment goals

Implement performance metrics, tracking, and reporting on all marketing activity. Analyzing performance and ROI;

Build, lead and inspire the US marketing team;

Leverage the knowledge, resources, and experience of the UK marketing team to deliver economies of scale in the US market

As part of the management team, attend regular meetings, contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, policies, procedures, and budgets, and produce a monthly board pack.

Manage the selection, contract terms and service standards of external agencies

Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in B2B businesses;

Experience of developing offline and digital marketing strategies to deliver growth;

First class experience in delivering vertical sector marketing strategies

Used to working effectively in a fast-moving organization;

Creative thinker - extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on creative and dynamic marketing strategies;

Analytically oriented, understanding performance metrics, tracking, reporting, and analyzing all campaigns based on results;

Ability to operate in both a hands-on and strategic manner;

A passionate, forward-thinking marketing leader, someone who can articulate a vision and engage others to deliver their vision;

Personal Qualities:

A self-starter who is positive, works at pace and is capable of inspiring and energizing others;

Can demonstrate strategic flexibility and is delivery focused;

A clear and confident communicator, both in person and on paper;

Well organized and thorough, with good attention to detail;

A team player who can build a team and leverage a team overseas;

Able to work to tight deadlines, under pressure and within budget.
