Full-Stack Developer

 

Overview

A growing FinTech company is building a team of Full-Stack Developers to enhance and integrate their newest software solution. The ideal candidate will be interested in working in the fintech/payments industry with a  cross-functional team composed of Front End Engineers, Product Designers, & Back End Developers. Looking to expand our footprint, we are looking for front-end engineers to join us and help build our platform. The goal of the platform is to create a unified, simple and overall amazing experience that allows all of our users and clients easy access to all the resources they need to develop our business.

 

Requirements

  • JavaScript 

  • Ember (preferred) and/or NodeJS or React or similar frameworks

  • Node.js/ REST API (basic understanding)/ Consuming APIs

  • Object Oriented and Structured development methodologies (basic understanding)

 

We’d love to see

  • Unit Testing and Test Driven Development

  • HTML & CSS, Bootstrap is a plus (strong knowledge)

  • GIT (proficient understanding) / Single Page Apps (SPA)

  • Agile methodologies (broad knowledge)

  • Experience in payments domain is a strong plus.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Participate in the development of the technical specifications.

  • Design, develop, and test software in Ember.js or NodeJS development environment.

  • Develop and maintain applications based on established specifications. Work together closely with Back-End developers.

  • Build efficient, testable, and reusable code.

  • Resolve bugs and develop enhancements and new features.
