We are looking for a QA Lead to join our growing engineering team, and champion quality. You will work closely with Product, Operations, Customer Support, Growth and other functions to help maintain a reliable, performant, and secure platform for handling remittances across countries. As an early leader on the team, we expect that you will also have a lot of impact on our team culture, processes and norms.

Our client is a cross-platform mobile app developed with React Native and TypeScript, which talks to a backend service written in Kotlin and backed by a PostgreSQL database, all of which runs on AWS and is managed via Terraform and Ansible.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain and execute test plans and test suites

  • Diagnose issues, report defects, and develop regression tests

  • Build a test-driven engineering culture that drives improvements in quality

  • Work with product, design, and development to maintain quality standards for features

  • Assure designs meet requirements and deliver high quality output within tight timelines

  • Be the SME and point of contact for our Tech org


Requirements

  • 4+ years hands-on experience with manual/automated testing of mobile applications

  • Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational, written and verbal skills

  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities, setting expectations with stakeholders and be a driving force

  • Experience leading and driving QA process

  • Understanding of the role that data and metrics play in the quality space
