Contract to perm opening for an energetic and driven Mid to Senior QA Analyst to build, maintain, and execute test assets for business applications at a financial services company.

- Identify, analyze, and document defects

- Work with the development and support team to reproduce and resolve issues

- Provide ongoing quality maintenance of test assets


- 4-year bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience

- 5+ years experience testing web-based applications

- Experience developing and maintaining test cases

- Experience writing SQL queries to extract data from a relational database

- Web service testing experience

- Postman or SoapUI


- Acquires technical and professional knowledge quickly

- Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task

- Prioritizes tasks and allocates time and resources effectively


- Evaluates, selects and acts on various strategies for solving problems before being asked or required to do so

- Generates novel and valuable ideas to achieve efficiency and exactness

- Looks for incremental improvements in work processes and results


- Is a reliable member of the team who can be counted on to accomplish milestones and resolve critical issues in a timely fashion

- Creates an atmosphere of valuing and accepting others, willingly cooperates, and works collaboratively to accomplish group objectives


- Asks relevant questions about the software and ability to retain

- Demonstrates the ability to convey thoughts and express ideas effectively using speech in individual or group situations

- Listens to others and fully comprehends what they are saying


-No automation necessary but wouldn't be bad to have, we use watir Webdriver

-Agile experience 
-Financial experience a definite plus

- No travel required

- Must be authorized to work in the US
