.NET Developer

Seeking a lead software engineer with awesome Kendo UI, React/Vue, C#.net, SQL and Microsoft.NET skills to be a hands-on engineer.

We are an Agile / Scrum shop with a strong sense of team work and collaboration.

Job Expectations

• Deliver high-quality, unit-tested code by practicing pragmatic software engineering principles

• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to maintain and improve code quality of software applications and the proprietary RPX platform

• Help define the technical architecture working with the Senior Director of Voice Development, Development Lead and other Engineers

• Work with the team to size and groom the product backlog

• Leverage Agile best practices (vertical vs. horizontal development, breaking things down into smaller pieces, driving to done) Requirements:

• 7-10 years’ work experience programming with C# and ASP.Net

• 2-3 years’ work experience working in a team as a Senior/Lead Developer

• Hands-on experience in web development technologies (jQuery, Ajax, CSS, Kendo UI, ReactJS, Telerik Controls) • Hand-on experience in coordinating software releases for multiple applications

• JavaScript Frameworks (e.g. KnockoutJS, KendoUI, AngularJS) and Libraries - ReactJS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

• Strong experience with MVC Pattern using ASP.Net MVC frameworks

• Experience in SQL and Transact-SQL

• Working knowledge of current .NET architectural/development best practices and design patterns

• Knowledge of available tools, technologies, methodologies, processes, and best practices to develop software

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills and a craving for details

• The desire to be a lifelong learner who sees software development as a craft

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a software development environment

• Solid interpersonal skills and comfort in a collaborative development environment

• Ability to build positive relationships in a cross functional team setting

• Effective interpersonal skills (presentation, written, and oral) and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of staff levels Preferred:

• Agile Methodology

 • Object Oriented Mapping Tools

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

• Messaging/Bus Frameworks (e.g. Service Broker)

• JavaScript Frameworks (e.g. KnockoutJS, EmberJS, or AngularJS)

• Design and Development Methodologies (e.g. TDD, and BDD)
