Senior Automation QA Engineer

Our Client is seeking a resourceful and innovative Senior Automation QA Engineer with a strong background in software development and quality engineering. In this role you will play a key function in developing QA frameworks using Detox and Cypress, among other platforms you might recommend. Your job is to make the lives of all engineers and QA easier by planning the testing across functional, performance, regression, and usability areas. Your goal is 100% automation. Anything that can be automated to make engineering lives easier, we want that. This role reports into DevOps.

Key Qualifications
? Strong expertise in Automation Engineering
? Good command of Javascript, and hopefully Typescript
? Previously written successful tests for a mobile environment
? Expertise in Automation QA architecture, methodologies, processes and tools.
? Expertise in Automating functional, Regression, Performance and usability testing areas
? Experience working with Detox, Cypress, cross-browser testing
? Expertise in testing Web services and API’s (GraphQL via Insomnia a plus)
? Hands on experience in SQL/Postgres
? High degree of ownership and accountability for your work.
? Creative problem solver and collaborator
? Comfortable with ambiguity and can solve problems despite uncertainties.
Location: Can work in the East Coast time zone. Southeast, US would be ideal for team get togethers

Experience:
? 3+ years experience in Automation Engineering
? 3+ years experience in Javascript
? Bachelors desired, not required
