UX Researcher Lead

The UX Researcher will build and maintain a durable framework to standardize all phases of user data collection and synthesis. They will also design the means to do system-level analysis to assess platform usability, and identify high-impact opportunities for improvement.

  • Standardize user research processes (e.g., identifying/recruiting/scheduling users, creating research plan templates) that will accelerate our ability to conduct user research

  • Codify expectations of our user research to ensure we are gathering enough data, and the right kind of data, to create high quality outputs

  • Translate user behavior insights into actionable business goals to drive innovation

  • Map and study critical process flows within our platform, grouped by client segments

  • Design program to conduct system-level analysis to determine:

    • success or failure of product/feature releases at the client/user level

    • overall usability at the product level

    • how to monitor critical user workflows for work efficiency and user satisfaction

  • Create and maintain a data-driven insights repository, including user personas

  • Suggest opportunities for new research methodologies (e.g., intercepts, surveys, a/b testing, etc.) that would help us understand our users better

  • Evangelize the tenets of user research to groups of individual contributors as well as upper level management

  • Periodically present insights in a way that resonates across departments

Do you fit our team?

  • Bachelor’s/post-graduate degree with a focus on research topics, preferably related to Human-Computer Interaction or usability

  • Deep understanding of research principles and methods

  • Portfolio of case studies

  • Experience conducting user interviews

  • Ability to communicate research principles to a diverse set of stakeholders

  • Strong human factors and usability analysis skills

  • Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design

  • Focused on driving business outcomes with research outcomes

  • Planning and conducting qualitative research projects

  • Experience using quantitative statistical methods to gather data

  • Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative findings into actionable insights
