The CRM Analytics (Einstein Analytics) Developer serves an active role in the support of the Business areas and AMCs by developing recipes and datasets that the role will utilize in performing data analysis and designing and developing dashboards and reports. In addition, the role will also include, but are not limited to, conducting data research, investigating source to target mapping, debugging, correcting data quality issues, organizing, and cataloging information, graphing or other analytical work-products, administering dashboard delivery, analyzing new data sources, maintaining technical documentation, and development of new products and/or services.
PRIMARY TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES /ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop an in-depth understanding of business department and AMC data and reporting / calculation needs and work to analyze and transform data into meaningful and actionable information.
Develop a deep understanding of company data and reporting technology platforms, including the underlying data, data structures, and applications. These applications include, but are not limited to, Claims Management, Patient Safety, Exposures, Billing, and Premium Management.
Collaborate with the Manager of the team to develop analytical queries, reports, and dashboards for tracking, trending, and interpreting enterprise business data.
Develop, manage, schedule, and execute CRM Analytics recipes.
Identify source SalesForceDotCom (SFDC) objects and fields for developing complete and accurate recipes and target CRM Analytics datasets.
Develop Salesforce Analytics Query language (SAQL) scripts to perform manipulations or calculations on data when developing recipes and datasets in CRM Analytics.
Modify CRM Analytics dashboard's JSON files to develop advanced customization tasks.
Develop Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) queries to explore and analyze Salesforce data.
In partnership with business department colleagues, plan and conduct complex analytical studies that involve identifying needs, formulating, and clarifying objectives, identifying data sources, designing data collection tools, and collecting data.
Conduct CRM Analytics admin tasks to set up user permissions, manage ownerships, and user groups as necessary.
Combine data into well-arranged and formatted SFDC datasets to be used to source CRM Analytics lenses and dashboards which are easy for users to understand, and which focus attention on key information while providing necessary explanations.
Select the appropriate charts and visualization approaches for the business needs and data structures, ensuring adherence to company standards.
Work independently and as a team member, contribute to other activities, projects, or initiatives as needed to support the achievement of company service goals and objectives.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
BS/ degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Statistics, or equivalent/related degree required.
MS in Business Intelligence and Analytics or Statistics preferred.
7+ years as a data analyst in Business Intelligence/Reporting field
Demonstrated experience in providing information technology support and implementation.
3-5 years’ experience with CRM Analytics, Einstein Analytics, and Einstein Discovery development and implementations.
Nice to have:
Experience working with ETL tools such as Boomi is a plus.
Experience working with Salesforce Data pipes.
Working knowledge in SalesForceDotCom (SFDC) configuration and customization.
Hands-on experience with developing, implementing, and maintaining CRM Analytics data flows, recipes, and security predicates.
