Software Engineer - Frontend

Atlanta, Georgia

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Product Engineering Department at a pioneering investment platform. Our platform provides both non-accredited and accredited investors with direct access to short-term, high-yield returns backed by real estate.

Operating under the Scrum Agile development framework, our team uses various technologies like Vue, React Native, and Ruby to create exceptional software products. While proficiency across the entire software stack is valued, we are particularly interested in candidates with a strong front-end focus who are comfortable engaging in full-stack development when needed.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge software products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, is key to delivering high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs.

  • Develop and maintain robust and scalable software solutions using Vue, React Native, and Ruby
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure the quality and performance of the codebase
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues promptly
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time and with the highest quality
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, sharing knowledge and insights with the team
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript based coding framework, preferably Vue, with at least 5 years of experience
  • Solid understanding of front-end development principles, including responsive design, UI/UX best practices, and browser compatibility
  • Familiarity with back-end development and experience working with databases and API integrations
  • Experience working within an Agile development environment, preferably using Scrum
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly

We know the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates, so please don’t hesitate to apply - we’d love to hear from you.
